The difference between having data and having accounts
A transaction feed can prove that an order, refund or fee exists. It does not automatically decide whether retail activity should be summarised, whether a trade customer needs an invoice or which Xero tax and nominal codes should be used.
ClearCommerce stores those accounting decisions explicitly
Each store can carry its own export profile. Account, tax and payment mappings sit beside the source data rather than being mixed into the connector code. That makes the result reviewable when a finance team changes the chart of accounts or adds another sales channel.
When a collection-first tool may suit you
If your biggest gap is discovering and gathering transactions from financial services or commerce sources, evaluate products that specialise in collection. If the transactions are already visible but the Xero output is messy, test the posting layer instead.
