The service
ClearCommerce is an ecommerce accounting bridge that imports supported sales-channel data and creates records for connected Xero organisations. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice. You remain responsible for checking mappings, tax treatment, exported records and reconciliations with an appropriately qualified adviser.
Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate account and company information, protect login credentials and have authority to connect each store, marketplace and Xero organisation. You are responsible for actions taken by users invited to your company workspace.
Plans and recurring payments
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. The price, applicable tax and plan limits are shown before payment. By completing the first card payment, you authorise ClearCommerce to instruct Stripe to store the payment-method reference and process future monthly off-session charges for the ClearCommerce subscription. ClearCommerce, not Stripe, manages the plan, billing schedule, invoices, renewals and subscription status.
Renewals and failed payments
ClearCommerce creates each renewal invoice and attempts the saved card on the scheduled billing date. If payment fails, we may retry it and provide a limited grace period. Imports, automation or Xero exports may be suspended when payment remains overdue or requires action. Your data is not automatically deleted merely because access is suspended.
Plan changes and cancellation
Plan changes normally take effect on the next billing date unless agreed otherwise. You may schedule cancellation from the Billing page. Access continues until the end of the paid period, after which automated accounting work is disabled. Statutory rights and any written commercial agreement take priority where applicable.
Refunds
Subscription charges are generally for the billing period purchased. Refund requests are reviewed against applicable law and any written commercial agreement. ClearCommerce automatically attempts to refund a confirmed duplicate subscription payment.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to bypass tenant isolation, billing controls or security; misuse third-party APIs; submit malicious content; or use the service in a way that breaches law or another party’s rights. Never send passwords, full card details or secret API credentials through public enquiry forms.
Third-party services
ClearCommerce depends on services including sales channels, Xero, Stripe, Brevo and hosting providers. Their availability, API limits and separate terms can affect the service. We do not control changes made by those providers.
Availability and liability
We work to provide reliable imports, idempotent jobs, duplicate prevention and an audit trail, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. You must review accounting output before relying on it for filings or business decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual property
The ClearCommerce name, design, website content and product interface are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their owners.
